<p>They were everywhere. Everyone knew how to use them. Now, they&#8217;re seen less and less, and most folks chuckle a bit when they spot one.</p>
<p>The communications world has passed them by. Did they see it coming?  I&#8217;ll bet they didn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Pulse check &#8211; is your public relations and marketing strategy still up to speed&#8230;.for 1999? Congrats. That was 10 years ago.</p>
<p>Think about how your market, your audience, your customers communicate now, and think about how the Web and social media continue to change how they communicate.  Did you know that the <a title="From Inside Facebook." href="http://www.insidefacebook.com/2009/02/02/fastest-growing-demographic-on-facebook-women-over-55/">fastest-growing demographic on Facebook</a> is women 55 and older?  If that&#8217;s part of your customer base,  are YOU present where THEY are?</p>
