WordPress Conquered (or at least subdued)

Hello, world!
If you’ve ever set up a WordPress blog, you recognize that greeting as the default original post. When I decided to create a Web site / blog for a new adventure in social media, I left the comforts of Typepad and plunged into WordPress. I had hoped to go “live” on April 1, but the inherent learning curve delayed me for a while.
That learning curve got steeper when the WordPress theme I liked the most just happened to be written in Spanish. So I’ve not only been learning the rudiments of PHP and CSS, I’ve learned to call the left and right columns of the sidebar izquierda and derecha.
I finally have our WordPress home tidy enough to present to the world. I hope you’ll visit often, spend some time getting to know the Every Dot Connects team, find something of value here, and have a bit of fun.
