Connecting the dots through the generations is a great phrase, and one that describes a process I have only been able to stimulate(I have 4 kids and 12 grandkids) in an extended family usage of the internet is using Facebook as the glue. (that's a compliment, i think) On a personal note, my own mother got a MySpace account and through that profile found some interesting blogs on collecting Barbies (one of her long lost hobbies from the past). That was six months ago. When I went home two weekends ago, my former room was now a shrine to Barbie and there are over 150 tiny dolls watching me sleep at night. Needless to say, beware of the power wielded by social networks. It will haunt your sleep...
